Centrifuge galvanizing

The benefits of hot-dip galvanizing are so great that its field of application is continuously expanding. An increasing number of small parts (connectors, fasteners, threaded rods etc.) are being hot-dip galvanized.

The technique used in this instance is centrifuge galvanizing, also known as spin galvanizing.

Description of the process :

Instead of being attached to assemblies or suspended from cradles, the parts are placed in barrels in batches and then spun when they come out of the zinc bath.
