The galvanizing process consists in immersing steel parts in a bath of molten zinc at 450 ° C after undergoing chemical treatment. Raon l'Etape walkway
As part of the development project for the banks of the Meurthe, the contractors have devised a metal walkway over 100 metres in length, the creation of which has been entrusted to VIRY. VIRY has chosen GALVA ECLAIR for the galvanizing process due to the high level of finish required, as well as the dimensions of its zinc bath (over 16 metres in length).

Brest Tramway
The atmosphere of Brest is known to be corrosive because of its proximity to the ocean and damp. The tramway post designers chose to use one of the GALVA UNION group’s duplex coatings, combining hot-dip galvanizing with reinforced DECOCEAN powder coating.

Jean Bouin stadium (Paris)
The reconstruction project for the capital’s Rugby stadium was launched in 2009 and is due for completion in 2013. In particular, this includes a steel frame superstructure weighing in at around 3000 tons protected against corrosion through GALVA ECLAIR hot-dip galvanizing.

Creation of a galvanised metal-framed house

Terenez viaduct (Brittany)
