Decozinc

Definition : Decozinc

Decozinc powder coating is a duplex treatment that has been developed by the Galva Union group. It enables the perfect integration of galvanized steels with the site in an ecologically sound process.

Decozinc powder coating includes four essential stages :

• 1. Deoxidisation of the zinc by chemical cleaning (mechanical cleaning is not recommended)
• 2. Total rinsing of the article to be treated
• 3. Degassing (high temperature)
• 4. Protection of the zinc under the paint with a conversion coating (> 1000 hours salt spray test)
